Beach Karpinjan
The Karpinjan beach in Novigrad covers around 500 m of the coast in the Karpinjan bay north of this romantic town. The most of this coastal area is arranged and covered with pebbles, while the little part the beach retained its wild look and rocky entrance into the sea. It is protected by a high pine forest, there is no traffic, and with the large area of shallow sea, it is especially popular among the families with little kids.
It is equipped with showers, benches and a public toilet. The sport facilities are nearby: the tennis and basketball courts, football and volleyball fields, which is a great addition to sunbathing and swimming. Furthermore, next to Karpinjan beach you can also find a pizzeria, confectionery and a cafe bar.
Karpinjan beach is only 1 km away from the town. You can reach it if you follow the illuminated walking and cycling path, and the road access is also available – you only need to leave your car at the dedicated areas.
