The International Photo Event
Novigrad and the Istrian motifs in the eye of the best photographers - that would be a short description of the Foto ex tempore event.
This is a three day long gathering of photographers coming from throughout the world to Novigrad in September. And the goal is the same for everyone - to enjoy the Istrian motifs and to record them with a camera.
About 80 photographers take part at this open competition, trying to win at the best photography selection at a set theme. In the past years, their objectives produced wonderful photographs with the topic of Venetian heritage in Istria, motifs highlighting Istrian myths and legends and the topic of the Istrian eno-gastronomy.
The photographic hunt in Istria starts in Novigrad, and after two days of shooting, the participants choose the three most successful ones among their works, which are exhibited at the Novigrad waterfront on the third day.
The exhibited works are marked both by the professional jury and the general audience, and you may also vote for the best photography on the Internet.
