This cave is a top attraction that leaves a strong impression on every visitor - from Dante Alighieri and Jules Verne to everyone else who has had the chance to see this unique work of nature.
Hundred metres underneath the largest and best preserved medieval castle in Istria, the largest Istrian karst river Pazinčica disappears into the crater of this most striking example of karst evolution in Istria and the surrounding area. The river Pazinčica forms numerous cascades of different sizes, the most interesting being Pazinski krov and Zarečki krov. Pazinčica reappears at the well of the Raša river spring and also in Lim Channel.
The educational walking trail which total length is 1300 m offer a canyon view and the adventure starts on Bridge Vršić nearby the Castle and leads you through the banks of Pazinčica where you start a gentle winding climb up to ''Piramida''(Pyramid) lookout and on to the terrace of the Hotel Lovac, where you can admire the stunning panorama.
The sightseeing is individual, there is no guide, which is why there are notice boards in different foreign languages along the path where you can learn more about carst phenomenon, hydrography, the flora of the abyss, legends, researches and brave explorers.

Tickets can be purchased at the zip-line, the tickets won't be charged in case it rains, entrance at your own risk. The underground sightseeing is not included.
