Trails around towns
TRAILS AROUND Vrsar, Poreč, Svetvinčenat and Rovinj are specially plotted. Around Vrsar there are three bike trails finely marked by signposts. The short trail is 5, the circular one 18 and the longest one is 27 kilometres long. Here too, one can enjoy the intact nature all along. A special attraction in one part is the magnificent view of Limski kanal (Lim Bay). You will certainly enjoy riding along the age-old forest Kontija. Two bike trails around Poreč, the northern and southern one are 45 kilometres long each. However, their pleasant side is to enable recreationists to enjoy the nature. Svetvinčenat is the centre of four trails, the longest of which is 15 kilometres. Not only is it easy to manage but also bikers don’t have to worry about heavy traffic. They can count on refreshment in restaurants along the road. From the Zlatni rt forest to the peaceful habitat of birds at the Palud swamp, from modern summer resorts to Roman countryside villas, from old oak trees to the chapel of St. Damjan, all coupled with the murmur of waves and the wind in the branches of age-old olive trees, is a summary of what a biker can expect when taking the Rovinj bike trail.
