The picturesque town of Motovun becomes very lively, in the sign of cinema, as there is held the international Motovun Film Festival dedicated to films of small cinematographies and independent film productions. This is a 'small' festival for film lovers, characterized by an informal and relaxed atmosphere. During five days of the festival, some 60 films are presented at five different locations with about 1,500 seats. In addition to the film programme there are also organized some exhibitions, concerts, round tables, discussions and parties. In these five days the hosts and their 30 000 guests live intensively 24 hours a day.
