For the fifth year running in Pićan, the Legendfest is being held. It is a time when Pićan's old town is ruled by wizards and warlocks, fairies and elfs, dragons and witches. During the festival - in numerous locations, hidden small streets, parks, close to small churches and walls - shows, workshops and performances are held daily in which all visitors, children and adults can participate. This year's festival theme is Celts in Istria so you will be surrounded by all things Celtic i.e. druids, witchcraft, legends, motives and popular Istrian stories shrouded in a veil of secrets. So make sure to be in Pićan at dusk for hot July nights and you will be refreshed by a breeze from the past, and legends to stir up your imagination
