These festivals portray the traditional and popular taste of the town, offering music and the inevitable culinary specialties with seafood prepared right after the daily catch and served on the fishermen's boats. These celebrations are taking place at the docks of Funtana during summertime, and they represent the best place to become acquainted with the Istrian folklore and customs.
St. Bernard is a patron saint of Funtana and his day is celebrated on the first weekend after the August 15th: during the whole day lots of fun, good food, music, sport and recreation games and other entertainment is guaranteed.
