Treasure hunt

Set out on a 'treasure hunt of the Umag Riviera'! Begin your tour by visiting the oldest lighthouse in the Adriatic and then follow the historical and archaeological sights of Umag and its surroundings indicated on the map. It takes 1.5 to 2 hours to complete the suggested itinerary by car or bike. Gratis at your reception desk!

Squirrel Park

In July 2005 'Squirrel park' was opened near the Hotel Coral in Umag, a joint ecology project of Istraturist and Primary school Marija and Lina. Boards containing information on species of squirrels found in the vicinity of Umag were set up in the park, so that besides being able to watch squirrels at play in their natural habitat, guests can also learn something more about these interesting little animals.

Eko park

In the newly-opened Eco park Istria covering an area of 13000 m2 in the Park Umag camping site you can discover all the specific features of Istria: rocky coastline, different types of Istrian soil, autochthonous Mediterranean vegetation, dry wall, little towns perched on hills in the interior…
