Istria was once again a star in the global travel – in its November and December issue, the well-known National Geographic Traveler magazine included Istria on its list of 20 best destinations for 2012.

They are also pointing out the fact that Istria has more than 2000 miles of well-kept bicycle paths and the Adriatic bays which, surrounded by the pine shade, call for sunbathing.
London, Island, Oman, African volcano ridge Virunga and other destinations also made it to the top 20 list.
