02.09.2009.
Massimiliano Rella, a top-of-the-class freelance journalist who, among other things, collaborates with specialized magazines and guides such as Agrisole, Bell'Europa, Identità Golose, Revue Vinicole, Ristoranti, Pianeta Hotel, Sapori d'Italia, Sole24Ore (Sud, Roma, Centro Nord), Viaggiando, Vigne&Vini, VS and the like.
On the initiative of the Istrian County Administrative Department for Tourism, he is soon expected to arrive in Istria.
A programme of the tour of Istria has been prepared, which, we believe, will result in one or more rich informative and promotional articles of the author, on the Istrian tourist and gastronomic offer, which will be published in most of the above mentioned magazines and guides that deal with this or related topics.
The programme includes the sightseeing tour of the Istrian coastal centres with the presentation of their offer, as well as smaller typical Istrian fishermen towns and, of course, the picturesque Istrian medieval towns in the interior. The gastronomic part of the programme offers the tasting of sea specialties in some of the best restaurants of our peninsula, as well as the experience of the authentic Istrian taverns with the tasting of autochthonous products typical of the Central Istria. In addition, the programme foresees wine tasting in some of the best Istrian wine cellars and the visit to our top-quality extra virgin olive oil producers.
