  Hotel Lone in Rovinj appeared in Sunday's print edition of one of the most prominent US newspaper The New York Times, in article titeled New Design on Croatia's Coast. The print edition of The New York Times is sold in more than one million copies a day and millions of Internet users visit its website each month.

• Promotion of the 15th Jubilee Edition of the guide Istra Gourmet 2011 - Solemn award of recognition to the most deserving Istrian restaurants and konobas (taverns)

  On Thursday, 16 June 2011, the 15th Jubilee Edition of the Istra Gourmet was promoted at the restaurant Wine Vault of the Monte Mulini hotel in Rovinj. It is a multifunctional annual guide that combines restaurants, taverns, wine makers and olive growers, with special emphasis on Istrian ox Boškarin and Istrian truffles.

• CEREMONY OF AWARDING DOMUS BONUS QUALITY LABELS TO HOLIDAY HOME OWNERS

  At the beginning of 2011, Istrian Tourist Board extended the Domus Bonus project, after apartments and studio apartments it spread to holiday homes.
  Today, the first 34 Domus Bonus home owners are awarded the Domus Bonus quality labels by the Istrian Tourist Board.

• 33 IQ labels of Istrian quality to the Istrian Malvasia wines.

  On Wednesday, 8th June 2011, in the Istrian Assembly Hall in Poreč 33 IQ labels of Istrian quality were awarded to the Istrian Malvasia wines. County President Ivan Jakovčić congratulated all the winemakers for their achievements, while Denis Ivošević, Director of the Istrian Tourist Board, pointed out that the winemakers from Istria have become more and more present in the world wine guides.

These guides belong to the famous Italian national association Touring Club Italiano.

  Istrian Tourist Board has printed the new editions of the Vacation Planner which presents Istra in seven tourism clusters and brings useful information needed for planning the arrival and the holidays in Istria and in particular information about accommodation.

• Valamar’s camp ‘Lanterna’ among the best in Europe

  During the 14th International CMT Fair in Stuttgart, Europe's largest and most significant automobile club, Germans ADAC (Allgemeiner Deutscher Automobil-Club) awarded the camp 'Lanterna,'owned by Riviera Poreč d.d. and managed by Valamar hoteli i ljetovališta d.o.o., the prestigious Super-Platz Award for 2011, which has to date been awarded to only two camps in Croatia.
