'What Our Grandmothers Cooked' is a gastronomic event at which you will be able to enjoy the traditional cuisine and specialties of the Rabac region, such as maneštre (vegetable stew), salads, pasta with salted sardines, cabbage, cuttlefish broth, squids with potatoes baked ispod peke (under a metal lid covered with hot embers), and gnocchi and fuži (a kind of pasta) with a sauce made of home-grown chicken. And good food is always accompanied by good wine, in which Rabac does not lack
During this culinary event, the entire Rabac waterfront becomes a blend of dance, folklore and top domestic delicacies prepared for you by the practiced hands of the local restaurateurs.
