About the event:

International choral festival

Founded on the idea of lifelong learning and love for amateur creativity, FAKS – the Amateur Cultural Creativity Festival is an international cultural, educational and entertainment event that features choir and acting festivals, art exhibitions and visits by different amateur groups. The first volume of the FAKS Sings Festival will bring together choirs from all over the world, who will sing and play music for four days in the most beautiful locations in Istria.

FAKS festival is recognized by the European Festivals Association and included in the list of Europe for Festivals, Festivals for Europe (EFFE). It is a platform of international festivals that connects those festivals that are extremely committed to art, the community in which they operate and European values, and also invites and informs the public about the holding of these festivals throughout Europe.

20:00 Gala opening concert of the festival in the Church of St. Mary of the Sea in Vrsar

Friday, 12.05.2023.
12:00 Joint performance of all choirs in front of the Church of St. Euphemia
18:30 Choir Friendship Concerts
1) Concert Hall of the Community of Italians "Pino Budicin"
2) Church of St. Mary of the Sea in Vrsar

Saturday, 13.05.2023.
18:00 Fun concert in the large hall of the Memorial Home in Pazin
