The City of Poreč will host on 18 and 19 June the Days of Croatian Prosciutto, an interesting gathering dedicated to our most famous dry-cured meat delicacy.
The aim of the event is to promote this traditional gourmet product and preserve the gastronomic heritage of the Adriatic regions.
On the first day, Friday, 18 June, the Parentium Plava Laguna hotel will host a grand opening with a series of workshops and conferences aimed at improving the production of prosciutto and the prosciutto industry in general, as well as expert evaluations after which the best prosciutto will be declared. The next day, Saturday, 19 June, at 8 am, an exhibition will take place at the Poreč Waterfront, where prosciutto producers will be presented to the public. Visitors will be able to taste and buy prosciutto from various Croatian regions.
