MATTHEW AUCOIN: EURYDICE

Composer Matthew Aucoin has dealt with another interpretation of the myth of Orpheus returning to the world of the dead trying to bring back a beloved woman with his musical skill. The libretto was written by Sarah Ruhl, remaking her celebrated 2003 drama so that we look at the whole story from the perspective of Eurydice.
