Olive oil producers

Grgorinić

Pula-Pola

Details:

This farm was founded in 2005 in the district of Paganor, near the charming port of Fažana, a few kilometres from the town of Pula. The Grgorinić family owns little more than one hectare of specialized olive grove with 360 trees of both local and imported varieties. In the last harvest of 2021, 51 quintals of olives were produced, with a yield of little more than 8 hectolitres of extra virgin olive oil.

Flos Olei recommends the Monocultivar Extra Virgin Paganor - Frantoio, which is a beautiful intense limpid golden yellow colour with delicate green hues. Its aroma is ample and rotund, rich in vegetal hints of artichoke, chicory and lettuce, together with fresh aromatic notes of mint and rosemary. Its taste is elegant and complex, with a flavour of country vegetables and distinct final notes of almond and black pepper. Bitterness is definite and pungency is distinct and well balanced.
