The New York Times puts Croatia on list of countries open to US citizens
The New York Times, respectable American newspaper with more than 400 million online daily readers puts Croatia on the list of currently open countries to receive tourists from U.S.
In the article „I’m a U.S. Citizen. Where in the World Can I Go“, Croatia is among the countries currently allowing U.S. citizens to enter with proof of paid accommodation.
„Every positive news which comes from the reliable sources such as The New York Times increases the visibility of our country on the world tourist map. It is important that American tourists and all other tourists from long haul source markets know that we are open and safe destination in which the tourism is possible respecting all the epidemiologic measures.”, said director of the Croatian National Tourist Board, Kristjan Staničić.
Also, The Daily Beast, which has more than 35 million monthly visits published an article with the title Croatia is This Mediterranean Hot Spot Is Open to Americans Again, inviting U.S. tourists to visit Croatia this summer.
