HO!HO!HO! Run
The Christmas season in Umag is a time for celebration, but also a time for giving back. Every year on 26 December, the town comes alive with festive energy as hundreds of runners, families and recreational sports enthusiasts take part in the cheerful HO! HO! HO! Run.
Wearing their Santa hats and festive smiles, participants set off along the streets and seafront promenade of Umag. You can choose between a 5 km or 10 km route, while younger visitors have the opportunity to join a children's race, designed to share the joy of sport with the whole family.
Yet the true spirit of the event extends far beyond the finish line. At its heart, the HO! HO! HO! Run is a charity race dedicated to helping abandoned animals, with funds raised through entry fees supporting the local animal shelter.
