Tunalicious Festival
From 7 to 13 September, Poreč will once again host the Tunalicious Festival, a unique event combining an international Big Game Fishing competition, a diverse gastronomic offer and a rich entertainment programme.
The festival brings together several well-known programmes – Tuna Restaurant Week, Spinnaker Gourmet Stage, Tunalicious Street Food and TunIstra – Big Game Fishing – offering visitors authentic Adriatic flavours, top chefs, sporting excitement, workshops for children and evening concerts on the Poreč waterfront.
The official opening of the TunIstra Big Game Fishing tournament, including the presentation of the competing teams and distribution of starting numbers to the captains, will take place on Wednesday, 9 September, on the Poreč waterfront, according to schedule. In case of rain, the official opening programme will be moved to the Poreč Cinema.
Due to unfavourable weather conditions, the programme scheduled for Thursday, 10 September, has been postponed, while festival events on the Poreč waterfront will continue on Friday, 11 September.
Friday brings Tunalicious Street Food, the children's workshop The Sea World, the daily catch weigh-in and an evening music programme featuring Top of the Pops, Grupa Cambi & Giuliano and a DJ.
The programme continues on Saturday, 12 September, with the TunIstra competition, street food, children's activities and the catch weigh-in, while Pop Gunz, Superstar Show and a DJ will provide the evening entertainment.
The grand finale follows on Sunday, 13 September, when the catch weigh-in and announcement of the winners of the TunIstra Big Game Fishing tournament will take place after the final day of competition. The festival will conclude with concerts by TTRT and Divlje jagode, followed by a final DJ programme.
