Johann Hermann Schein: Israelis Brünnlein (Leipzig, 1623) – a selection from the collection of motets

The programmes presented offer some of the finest examples of contemporary historically informed performance of early music, featuring leading European ensembles of the highest artistic calibre. The programmes include masterpieces of German and Italian music from the 16th and 17th centuries and represent true delights for devoted lovers of early music. Furthermore, at the concert in the Church of St. Euphemia, the audience will have the opportunity to enjoy the performance accompanied by the original sound of the restored Baroque organ built by Antonio Barbini in 1754.
