Present in our Guide after some time with a brilliant result, this farm was created in the early 2000s and is still run by Mario Franković in the favourable district of Buje. Its owner, who also produces wine and is fond of horses, manages an estate of 7 hectares, destined to the specialized olive grove with 1,500 trees. In the last harvest 100 quintals of olives were produced, equal to a yield of 20 hectolitres of extra virgin olive oil.
We recommend the selection proposed to the panel, the very good Extra Virgin Amfiterra - Leccino, which is a beautiful intense limpid golden yellow colour with delicate green hues. Its aroma is ample and rotund, endowed with fragrant hints of mint and rosemary, together with spicy notes of cinnamon, black pepper and distinct almond. Its taste is fine and harmonic, with a vegetal flavour of artichoke, wild chicory and lettuce. Bitterness is distinct and pungency is present and well balanced.
