The first olive trees were planted in 2011 on the estate owned by the Volarević family for generations. Today the farm is run by Aurora, with the support of relatives and friends, and consists of 3 hectares of olive grove with 600 trees. In the last harvest 92 quintals of olives were produced, with a yield of little more than 10 hectolitres of extra virgin olive oil.

The selection proposed to the panel is the very good Extra Virgin Turinela - Premium Selection, which takes its name from the place where the trees are situated. It is a beautiful intense limpid golden yellow colour with slight green hues. Its aroma is ample and rotund, rich in vegetal hints of artichoke, wild chicory and lettuce, together with notes of aromatic herbs, especially rosemary and mint. Its taste is elegant and complex, with a spicy flavour of black pepper, cinnamon and a strong almond finish. Bitterness is definite and pungency is distinct and harmonic.
