The June edition of the popular EnjoyIstra tourist guide has just been published, and is being delivered to reception desks and tourist offices across the Istrian peninsula, to serve as a comprehensive companion to all the travellers visiting Istria in the first month of summer 2012.

Published by the Istria Tourist Board, and prepared by Sedam i pol and local tourist offices, the 80-page periodical describes events, attractions and historical sites in 4 languages - English, German, Italian and Croatian. Free of charge and illustrated with vivid photographs, it contains a detailed calendar of events and up-to date lists of attractions, museums and traditional monthly fairs. There is also a useful map of Istria, marking towns and relevant traffic routes.

The front page photograph illustrates the Days of Antiquity, taking place in Pula in the second weekend of June. Some of the highlights of the current issue are the magnificent cycling and walking path Parenzana of the Istrian hinterland and the extensive summer festival Istra Inspirit. Furthermore, stories can be found on Casanova and his adventures in Vrsar, on the pre-Roman godess Sentona, delicious food and wine, as well as the beautiful blue and green nature to be enjoyed in Istria...
