Maistra’s Monte Mulini Hotel in Rovinj has become part of one of world’s largest organizations in the luxury hotel business, The Leading Hotels of the World. Monte Mulini is the first five-star boutique hotel in Rovinj opened in March of 2009, the investment amounting to almost HRK 200 million.

The Certificate of Excellence Award is a certificate rewarding excellence in the tourism and service industries across the world and is only awarded to facilities achieving outstanding guest ratings on the Trip Advisor. To qualify for it, a company must maintain an overall rating of four points or higher out of five points, with points awarded for guest ratings. The Monte Mulini Hotel received five points and was thus ranked among ten percent of the hotels, restaurants and service facilities published on the Trip Advisor and receiving the award. Additional significance is provided by the fact that this award comes from world’s largest network community of travelers with over 50 million individual visitors and over 60 million opinions and ratings on a global level.
