With the 25th issue of EnjoyIstra tourist guide just published, there is plenty of reason for contentment, as the periodical is once again confirmed as one of the most prominent Istrian publications of the kind.

The 25th issue covers the months of September through December 2012, introducing travellers to a myriad of possibilities for autumn exploration and enjoyment in Istria. Available in four languages, articles fall into the usual chapters on history, art, gourmet, sport etc. The opening chapter, always bearing a new and different title, is devoted to witchcraft, touching on abundant Istrian legends and events inspired by the magical.

There are special references to Truffle days; interesting historical sites and sporting events are described, as well as the on-going Istra Inspirit series of open-air festivities and theatrical performances throughout Istria.

Published by the Istria Tourist Board since 2005., the 80-page guide is free of charge and distributed through reception desks and tourist offices. Also, it is given to guests at border crossings in Istria, to direct them to various events and attractions of the blue and green Mediterranean peninsula. Apart from the articles, it contains a detailed calendar of events, a map of Istria, useful telephone numbers and up-to-date lists of attractions, museums and collections.

- We are proud of its continuity and popularity. EnjoyIstra is well received among guests and tourism professionals alike, and it has done a lot to promote a specific image of our destination, said Mr Denis Ivošević, Istria Tourist Board managing director.

- Over the past 8 years, working on the guide has been challenging, but also very rewarding. Through excellent cooperation with local tourist offices and professionals within the Istrian Tourist Board, we constantly seek to make improvements in content, translations and design, said EnjoyIstra editor Vesna Ivanović. Among EnjoyIstra contributors, as part of the Sedam i pol studio, responsible for the realization of the project, are Martina Dodić, Diana Fonović and Suzana Borzić.
