From March 7th until 9th 2010 Istria will host a group of 35 Danish experts in strategic regional touristic planning and management in tourism. The participants of this trip shall stay at the newly opened Kempinski Hotel Adriatic 5* in Crveni vrh, Savudrija, where they'll attend to thematic presentations and round tables about Croatian and Istrian tourism development strategies, and the activities related to branding, marketing and promotion of Istria as touristic destination.

Besides visiting the hotel Kempinski and the nearby Golf course Crveni vrh, within the study trip are foreseen several guided visits like the one to the vinery Kabola, including wine and extra virgin olive oil tasting, of the international centre of musical youth in Grožnjan, of the old town of Motovun, of the Euphrasius basilica in Poreč, of the sculpture park od Dušan Džamonja near Vrsar, of the mollusc farming in the Lim channel, and finally of the truffle growing area along valley of the river Mirna (the Forest of Motovun).

Istrian County Administrative Department of Tourism
