On its fifth anniversary, the renowned international biking race will take place from 7th to 9th May. Differently form last years, when it was a daily race, this edition will last over three days, passing through the areas of the tourism offices of Poreča and Tar-Vabriga, as well as through Lanterna and Tinjan. Such growth of the event, as in quantitative as in qualitative terms was possible thanks to the support of our long lasting partner – Valamar co, but also of the inclusion of a new strategic partner – the Agrolaguna co.

Both partners are oriented towards the touristic sector, and events like this are just perfect to establish a cooperation aimed to create ones own image and a selective touristic offer. The race is part of the Croatian cup 2010 circuit, which is an already habitual praxis of the organiser – the Department of tourism of the Region Istria, and this year are expected over three hundred participants coming from some ten European nations.

As to give a touristic note to the event, the race will be accompanied by two recreational bike rides intended for families and members of the participants' staff. The first one will take place on Saturday in Tinjan, which is the Municipality's day, with a rich entertainment program, passing through the tracks named ''From puddle to puddle'' and ''The track of the dry walls''. The second ride, organized by the animation staff of the Valamar co, will take place on Sunday, starting from Lanterna to Poreč and back.
