Hotel Lone in Rovinj appeared in Sunday's print edition of one of the most prominent US newspaper The New York Times, in article titeled New Design on Croatia's Coast. The print edition of The New York Times is sold in more than one million copies a day and millions of Internet users visit its website each month.

Adam H. Graham, the author of the article who visited Hotel Lone this year in June, pointed out: In July a new reason to visit the region emerged, when the Hotel Lone opened. The stark, white establishment is just one of a handful of notable structures along the Istrian coast that offer visitors a window into the next generation of Croatian architecture.

Besides Hotel Lone, Graham suggests the readers to visit the Lapidarium Museum in Novigrad and the Dušan Džamonja Sculpture Park in Vrsar.
