Ivica Kostelić, the greatest Croatian skier, won the first place at the slalom at the ski cup held in Kranjska Gora, and he gave the first autographs to his truest fans at the Istrian booth.

The slalom race for men, the 52nd Vitranc Cup, was held in the attractive Slovenian winter destination and it is one of the most important sporting events in Slovenia and the last grand slalom and slalom race in the season.

Just after the race, Ivica Kostelić welcomed his elated fans and gave out autographs at the booth of the Tourist Board of Istria, where the promotional materials of Istria and Croatia were distributed throughout the weekend. The presentation booth was located in the VIP tent next to the ski slope and it was divided into two parts, one of them belonging to the Croatian Tourist Board and the other one belonging to the Istria Tourist Board.
