EnjoyIstra welcomes EU

It's front page is dedicated to the great event of Croatia's accession to the European Union - from the 1st of July Croatia becomes the 28th member of the European family.

The July edition of the popular EnjoyIstra tourist guide has just been published, and is being delivered to reception desks and tourist offices across the Istrian peninsula, to serve as a comprehensive companion to all the travellers visiting Istria during this summer month.

It's front page is dedicated to the great event of Croatia's accession to the European Union - from the 1st of July Croatia becomes the 28th member of the European family.

Published by the Istria Tourist Board, the 80-page periodical describes events, attractions and historical sites in four languages - English, German, Italian and Croatian. Free of charge and illustrated with vivid photographs, it contains a detailed calendar of events for July and up-to date lists of attractions, museums and traditional monthly fairs. There is also a useful map of Istria, marking towns and relevant traffic routes.

Some of the highlights of the current issue are the Istrian frescoes and the story about the Histri in Istria marking an extraordinary exhibition in the Sveta Srca (Sacred Hearts) gallery in Pula. Furthermore, stories can be found on traditional events, souvenirs and workshops, delicious food and wine, as well as the beautiful blue and green nature to be enjoyed in Istria...
