Istria welcomes the tourist season 2014 with yet another flight route – from 19 April until 31 October the Ireland's national air carrier Aer Lingus will connect Dublin and Pula twice a week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Apart from Dubrovnik, Aer Lingus introduces Istria as its second destination in Croatia, which will provide the Istrian peninsula as well as the neighbouring Kvarner Bay, a part of Slovenia and Italy with a direct connection with Ireland and Dublin.

Aer Lingus, the oldest Irish air carrier established in 1936, manages the fleet of 48 airplanes covering 77 destinations. The company's head office is located in Dublin with operating bases in Belfast City, Cork, London Gatwick, London Heathrow and Shannon. In the cooperation with the ClickandGo.com and Travel Dept. websites, Aer Lingus offers the selection of best holiday destinations. Despite being a national airline, Aer Lingus offers low fares as well.

Within its promotional activities, tourism in Istria will be presented at the Dublin Holiday World Show Fair to be held from January 24-26, 2014.
