The topic was chosen for the purpose of preserving the old Istrian roads in a way that each town and municipality has its own ''pebbled road''. By the activity entitled ''Let's pick the biggest and most beautiful tree in Istria'' we wanted to encourage their protection and point out to the important role trees had in the past because they provided shade and in this way made works easier.
