Hiking trail: Semić - Brest - Semić

The trail starts near the old school at village Semić and leads us along the white unpaved path, for 10 minutes of straight road, and then climbs for about 15 minutes until it reaches the vantage point Pod Šćikovico. It is a nice place to relax with a view to Lupoglav and surrounding areas. The trail continues along the white unpaved road and after 20 minutes turns right into a smaller trail which leads towards the wood in the direction of the edge of the hill above Lupoglav and continues along its edge.

The trail breaks out again into the white unpaved path that climbs down reaching the Nad Grad meadows and climbs up to the trail leading to Planik. Continue on this path for another ten minutes until you arrive at the crossroads and then turn left to a straight path, climbing down to the village Brest. There is a paved path through the village until you reach the old school and then for about 200 m along the unpaved  path, until you reach the Nad Krog lookout spot. From the lookout spot you can see Vranja, Boljun and its wide surroundings and it has also been arranged as a resting place.

The total length of the trail is about 7 km and by walking it slowly it’s possible to pass it with occasional rests, for about 1 hour and 50 minutes. The return trail is the same as the onward trail.
