Free Guided Hike

Discover the natural beauty and historical treasures of the Labin area on the Bellavista Trail, one of the region's most scenic walking routes. Accompanied by an experienced guide, this immersive hike brings the landscape to life through captivating stories, and fascinating insights into the places you encounter along the way.

This circular route starts in Rabac and leads to the hills of Ripenda to the Standar Plateau, situated 474 metres above sea level. From here, hikers are rewarded with spectacular panoramic views of the Adriatic Sea, the islands of Cres and Lošinj, and, on clear days, even the majestic Velebit mountain range.

The Standar Plateau is home to several archaeological sites that bear witness to thousands of years of human presence in the area. Adding to the area's unique character are the traditional dry-stone walls, remarkable examples of local craftsmanship that tell the story of generations who shaped the Istrian landscape. Throughout the hike, you will be accompanied by authentic Mediterranean scenery, where stunning sea views blend with the silhouettes of the medieval hilltop towns of Labin, Pićan and Gračišće.
