Exhibition: Enzo Cacciola

Born in Arenzano (GE) on December 12, 1945, Enzo Cacciola lives and works in Rocca Grimalda (AL). He held his first solo exhibition in Genoa in 1971 at the La Bertesca gallery, focusing on the dynamics of the relationship between surface, form, and color. It was only in 1973, however, that he began experimenting with alternative materials, creating his first material-based works centered on surface and on the intrinsic elements of his own visual language. In June 1975, he took part in the exhibition “Pittura Analitica” (Analytical Painting), presenting concrete works capable of opening a problematic relationship with the space of analysis, defined by the materiality of the artwork itself.
