Štrika Ferata Olive Oil Wine Walk

Come to Rovinj and spend Easter weekend in nature!

The third edition of the Štrika Ferata Olive Oil Wine Walk event combines the enjoyment of food and moderate physical activity. Next to the former railway line Rovinj - Kanfanar stretches the newly renovated Štrika Ferata trail, where wines and olive oils from local producers, as well as taste homemade cheese and Istrian prosciutto at refreshment stations wil be offered.
In addition to eight winemakers, three oil producers will offer their extra virgin olive oil, and the story will be rounded off by well-known Istrian producers of delicacies - Buršić with its prosciutto and spalet, Vesna with a wide variety of cheeses from Loborika and the famous cod producer Alden from Baderna. The partner of the event is AZZRI with its excellent homemade sausages and Mirna Rovinj.
At the start, all interested gastronomads will pick up a bag with a tasting glass, a map of the route and set off along the Štrika Ferata towards Rovinjsko Selo, a section of seven kilometers long.
When registering, participants can choose their own departure time, as they will be divided into several groups and accompanied by a guide will set off at half-hour intervals.
At the very end, with a view of the old town center at sunset, the Agrorovinj Association will offer Istrian supa and the traditional Easter pinca.
