International Labour Day with an all-day program designed for all generations

Under the slogan “Together Outdoors!”, a diverse and rich program has been prepared, placing at its center the values this holiday represents – time spent with family and friends, relaxation in nature, recreation, play, and togetherness.

The program begins with morning activities “Body & Mind – Morning on the Meadow”, featuring a Tai Chi workshop led by Dino Sošić and a Yoga workshop led by Ana Karlaš, offering participants the opportunity to start the day in peace, balance, and greenery. Throughout the day, a series of activities awaits children, parents, and everyone who enjoys spending time outdoors – from the children’s art workshop “Postcards from Nature”, family games and kite flying, to traditional competitive and entertaining events and an interactive treasure hunt involving all generations.

A special emphasis is placed on intergenerational socializing through recreation, creativity, music, or simply spending time in nature and meeting fellow citizens.

The musical program features performances by “The Gig Savers”, “Le Cronache”, and “Boo Bunnies”, as well as the Rovinj Brass Band, while the gastronomic segment will be enriched by a tasting of “sardines in savor” prepared by members of the “Kuća o batani – Casa della batana” association, as an authentic expression of local tradition.

For lovers of traditional social games, sack races, tug of war, crate carrying races, and a Briscola and Trešeta tournament are organized, accompanied by a relaxing musical and entertainment program hosted by Vukica Palčić and Patrizia Sfettina Jurman.
