27th Swimming Marathon of St. Euphemia 2026

Swimming marathon on the occasion of the celebration of St. Eufemia, patroness of the city of Rovinj-Rovigno

In the beautiful Valdaliso Bay, located between the “Martin Horvat” Special Hospital for Orthopedics and Rehabilitation, the Amarin tourist resort and the indoor swimming pool, participants can look forward to two races: the Mala Figarola over 1,500 metres and the Velika Figarola over 3,000 metres. The youngest participants will once again have the opportunity to take part in the 50-metre children’s race, which is being held for the third time.

The children’s race starts at 10:45 a.m., while the joint start of the Mala and Velika Figarola races is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. The award ceremony and communal lunch are planned for 1:00 p.m.

Online registration is open at www.rovinjswim.com until September 10 at midnight. Registration is also possible on the day of the race, from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. The entry fee is €30.

The organisers have prepared medals and trophies for the top competitors, while all participants will receive specially designed T-shirts, a meal, refreshments, drinks, sponsor prizes and professional photographs. The swimming course will be clearly marked with buoys, and participants’ safety will be ensured by boat crews, canoeists and a medical team.
