Kantaduri va Hum - Kantaduri come to Hum
A meeting will be taking place of local vocal groups, the famous Klapas in the picturesque atmosphere of the smallest town in the world, Hum, accompanied by the unusual illumination of today’s already forgotten lanterns. An old Istrian carriage serves as a makeshift stage, where the klapas will sing traditional songs of this area. As in the past, when people spontaneously gathered and sang from the heart, the klapas will once again sing the songs of their ancestors a cappella. And in order to present the traditional heritage to their guests as faithfully as possible, the singers will be wearing the traditional costumes of their grandparents.
Hum is the ideal place for getting together and meeting the Istrian culture, whilst this event allows visitors to enjoy the beautiful melodies performed for them by a number of klapas, while comfortably accommodated on hay bales or wooden benches under a starry sky.
