The British-Croatian Festival Orchestra is a new bilateral initiative artistically led by the internationally acclaimed conductor Jan Latham-Koenig. It brings together 20 students and recent graduates of leading conservatories in Great Britain and Croatia, as a pilot event for a larger program of future concerts.
On Trg Slobode in Poreč on August 19 at 9 p.m., they will present an inaugural concert with a one-hour program of works by Josipović, Elgar, Grieg, Dvorak and Tchaikovsky.
