International Festival of Short Films
FKM Novigrad is an international festival in Croatia and the only festival in Istria that is dedicated exclusively to short format films. With a rich program consisting of films from the region and international titles; free workshops, educations and various accompanying and entertainment programs will be available to the public. The festival awards the best films as chosen by the audience in regional and international competition.
The aim of the festival is to enhance and promote the art of cinema in the form of short films and to give the authors the greatest possible visibility. FKMN aims to be a showcase for all those independent works of value that don't find space in the commercial distribution of Croatian and international cinema. The FKMN is an opportunity to learn and meet while having fun; for some a first door that opens onto the world of cinema.
