International choir festival

The "Musica sacra über die Grenzen" festival, which conductor Manfred Linsbauer started more than 20 years ago with the idea that residents of Austria and neighboring countries create music together, took place in Croatia for the first time in 2015. The host countries of previous editions of Musica Sacre were Austria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Italy and Slovenia, and thanks to the hotel company Maistra, the Tourist Board of Vrsar, the association and the mixed choir Roženice from Pazin, Croatia also appeared on the festival map and became the traditional host of the festival in October.

The organizer of the festival is Ars Cultura with the support of Maistra, the Tourist Board of the City of Rovinj-Rovigno, the Tourist Board of the Municipality of Vrsar, the Tourist Board of Central Istria, the Tourist Board of the Municipality of Funtana, the Public Open University of Pazin and the "Dr. Dino Škrapić, MBA".
