Enjoy & Explore Barban Tradition
Get to know the interesting tradition and history of Barban through an afternoon’s guided tour that is scheduled on Wednesdays throughout July and August.
The gathering takes place on the Placa, the central square of this little town whose strategic position in history has dominated the Raša river valley. Accompanied by a guide, you will visit the square and the museum dedicated to knightly pursuits and equestrian competitions, the Trka na prstenac (The Ring Race), for which Barban is widely known, followed by a visit to the racetrack in Gradišće, where horsemanship training can be seen and the charm of the traditional race that represents the symbol of Barban can be experienced.
The tour ends with a Mini market of local products where you can taste and buy local products and souvenirs.
