CRO Race
Istria is widely recognized as an outstanding cycling destination, offering ideal conditions for biking, along with a rich variety of other sports and exceptional culinary experiences.
The International cycling race CRO Race brings together world cyclists and teams from the World Tour, Pro Continental, and Continental competition categories who compete in six stages and ride over a thousand kilometers throughout Croatia.
The race has start and finish locations in cities throughout Croatia or famous locations such as national parks and nature parks. The fourth stage of the race winds through some of Istria’s most stunning locations, with Labin standing out as one of the host cities, appealing to both spectators and visitors alike. Its charming old town, crowned by a historic bell tower, provides a picturesque setting for cyclists and a spectacular backdrop for television coverage.
The race is part of the official international calendar of the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI). At previous editions of the race, the greatest cycling stars, such as Mark Cavendish, Vincenzo Nibali, Giacomo Nizzolo, Adam Yates, Matej Mohorič, and others, have taken part.
For the youngest visitors, the Kids CRO Race offers a fun opportunity to test their cycling skills in a virtual race using interactive simulators.
