10 AM Children’s Workshop “Castle Celebration,” led by illustrator Daria Tommasi
What if Momjan Castle, at least for one night, returned to its former glory? Together with the workshop participants, we will engage in activities of group painting, cutting, and crafting, and create flags and decorations from colorful paper to adorn the spaces of the castle during the Fortress Night.

19:15 Short film “Šparoge/ Asparagus”

It is a humorous film with a deep message. The plot takes place in the relationship between Savičenta and Smoljanci, between whom in reality there has been a rivalry for a long time.
The plot happens when a gastronome from Klagenfurt announces in the local newspaper that Savičenta’s asparagus are the best in Istria, even though the mayor of Savičenta (who served them to him) actually picked them in Smoljanci. Through a seemingly innocuous problem, the film expresses an essential love for lost Istria, and the problems caused by capitalism, which takes that Istria away from the local residents.
