Bembo Fest
The festival of small forms of independent theatres in Bale invites you to a three-month celebration of theatre, creativity, and community spirit. Bembo Fest promises a summer filled with diverse events set against the stunning backdrops of Bale’s charming stages, welcoming audiences of all ages.
Over the course of the festival, more than one hundred artists from Croatia, Italy, Austria, Serbia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina will present around thirty theatre performances, concerts, and exhibitions.
Bembo Fest has become a part of Bale’s cultural identity and a key highlight of the summer cultural season. The festival is organized by Teatar Fort Forno from Bale, with the support of the Municipality of Bale-Valle, the Bale-Valle Tourist Board, Mon Perin d.d. company, the Ministry of Culture and Media of the Republic of Croatia, the Istrian Region, the Italian Cultural Institute in Zagreb, and the Austrian Cultural Forum.
