Winter Joy in Vrsar

This year, Vrsar once again presents a rich festive programme as part of “Winter Joy in Vrsar”, offering activities for all age groups throughout December and early January, and creating a warm, welcoming holiday atmosphere in the town.

The free ice rink – this year at the new location next to the Saline Sports Hall – will be open from 6 December 2025 to 6 January 2026, daily from 16:00 to 22:00. On New Year’s Eve (31 December), the rink will be open from 10:00 to 16:00.

A varied children’s programme includes “Magical Christmas in the Tići Kindergarten Park” on 16 December with gift-giving, a visit from Santa Claus, DJ entertainment and traditional fritule. On 17 December, the Naranča Theatre will stage the play “Grandma Winter” at the Saline Sports Hall.

December also brings creative workshops, including the workshop “Christmas in Kontija” on 6 December and a workshop on creating Christmas decorations using the decoupage technique on 20 December.

Art and photography lovers can visit the Vista Sur – Photobook Festival, featuring an exhibition opening with live music on 20 December, followed by an exhibition day on 21 December at the Italian Community.

The diverse entertainment programme includes the Christmas Concert on 21 December in St. Martin’s Parish Church, evenings of live music by local performers at the Saline Sports Hall, and the traditional New Year’s Eve Noon Celebration, which will also take place at the new location in front of the Saline Sports Hall on 31 December from 11:30 to 13:00.

St. Martin’s Parish Church will also host the festive church services: Midnight Mass on 24 December and Christmas Mass on 25 December.
