Wings for Life World Run Rovinj

This year, Rovinj joins the large family of Wings for Life World Run races, a global humanitarian movement that brings together runners and participants from all over the world. This unique race, in the form of an app run, will take place on Sunday, May 10, 2026, starting exactly at 1:00 PM, simultaneously across the planet.

Unlike classic races, the Wings for Life World Run does not have a fixed finish line - participants run or walk as far as they can until they are caught up, in this case, by a virtual interceptor vehicle. All funds raised, including 100% of the entry fee, are directed towards research aimed at finding a cure for spinal cord injuries.
The Kvarner Sports and Recreation Association, with the long-standing support of Red Bull, and the exceptional support of the Sports Community of the City of Rovinj-Rovigno and the City of Rovinj-Rovigno, is proud to organize the Wings for Life World Run "app run" for the fifth year in a row in the Kvarner and Istria regions. Participants will have the opportunity to run in the spectacular surroundings of the Golden Cape Forest Park, one of the most beautiful natural oases in Istria.

  • Trail length: 3 km circular trail (adapted to all fitness levels)

In the finish area, refreshments, entertainment with a DJ, local producers with their products for tasting and sports socializing will await you. Everyone is invited both to participate and to cheer and support the runners!
