Parenzana Ultra Trail
On 14 February 2026, Poreč will host the 4th Parenzana Ultra Trail, an international running event connecting Croatia and Slovenia along the route of the former Parenzana narrow-gauge railway. Participants can choose from several distances: 30 km (Grožnjan – Portorož), 50 km (Livade – Portorož), 88 km (Poreč – Portorož), and 88 km relay races (2 or 3 members). The finish for all races is at Kamp Lucija in Portorož.
The event offers a top-quality sporting experience with organized support, refreshment stations along the route, medals and diplomas for all participants, and special awards for the youngest, oldest, and largest clubs. Entry fee includes an official event T-shirt, pasta party, hot meal, commemorative gifts, and health insurance.
