Luigi Donora is a successor of the great Istrian musical tradition, which Antonio Smareglia promoted in Vodnjan. On many occasions, he demonstrated, with great talent, his love for his homeland. As a composer, he dedicated many works to Istria (e.g., Miniature Istriane and others), and although his daughter Giuliana is not a musician, she strives to promote and preserve the cultural heritage of our region.
